About me
Hi, I’m Fabio! I am a Research Associate at the Chair for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence at the University of Augsburg, Germany.
My work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, medicine, and people. I am particularly interested in biomedical computer vision, deep learning, human-computer interaction, and explainable AI. I enjoy exploring how intelligent systems can support clinicians, researchers, and patients—not only by being accurate, but also by being understandable, reliable, and useful in practice.
I am motivated by the idea that technology should make a positive difference in people’s lives. Through my research, I aim to help develop AI methods that advance medical understanding, improve healthcare, and foster human-centered innovation.
Beyond research, I am naturally curious and enjoy learning about new ideas, tools, and perspectives. I value thoughtful collaboration, open discussion, and building things that connect rigorous research with real-world impact.
Feel free to explore my work, publications, and projects – or get in touch if you would like to collaborate or simply talk about AI, healthcare, and technology.
